VIEW →Which Timber Door Is Right for You?
The right door depends on where it goes and how you want to use the opening. At the front of the house, an entrance door is secured with a mortice deadlock and multi-point locking, in panelled, glazed or bespoke designs.
For the garden side, French doors are a hinged glazed pair that suit openings up to around 1.8m and a classic look. Bi-fold doors fold back in two to seven leaves to open almost the entire wall, which suits wider openings and open-plan rooms.
A stable door splits into two independently opening halves, so the top can stand open for light and air while the bottom stays shut - a practical choice for kitchens, boot rooms and period cottages. Every door is available in any RAL colour and carries a 10-year structural guarantee.

Timber Door FAQs
Four styles: entrance doors, French doors, bi-fold doors and stable doors. Each is made to measure in softwood or hardwood, in any RAL colour, and supplied on its own or fitted by our own team.
We make doors in softwood and hardwood. Hardwood is our most durable option, and engineered hardwood is what we recommend for a door that takes a lot of sun and weather. Softwood is a better-value choice that takes a painted finish superbly. We will recommend the right option for your budget and aspect at the survey.
Entrance, French and stable doors have a lead time of 6–10 weeks from survey. Bi-fold doors take 8–12 weeks.
Every door locks with multi-point hardware: with a mortice deadlock on entrance doors, hook bolts and shootbolts on French doors, and a concealed drop-bolt joining the two halves of a stable door. PAS 24 certification is available as an option.
